Your pot’o’gold could be waiting at the end of the Aurora Association of REALTORS® Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament March 12!
This Pre-St. Patty’s Day party combines AAR’s annual Texas Hold ’Em tourney with a bit of Irish entertainment from the Reed School of Irish Dance and a chili and dessert cook-off you won’t want to miss.
Are you a card shark or a beginner? Either way, you’re welcome in the Tournament, where your card playing acumen matters much less than your enthusiasm for networking with your fellow AAR members and your willingness to laugh and have fun. And come hungry – chili and dessert recipes will be available to sample, rounded out by a complement of other party fare. Cook-off entries should be available for judging by 5 p.m.
The Association’s active Affiliate Committee again hosts this popular event with an eye toward earning funds for the summertime REALTOR® Family Appreciation Day. The Texas Hold ’Em Tournament starts at 5:30 p.m., after a training session for novice players beginning at 4:30 p.m. All skill levels are welcome.
Friends, family members and co-workers are invited; AAR agents and Affiliates will see to it that plenty of great door prizes will be given away during the evening.
All attendees pay a $10 event admission fee. Entry into the Cook-Off is free, and Texas Hold ’Em players pay a tournament fee of $10.
