NAR encourages REALTORS® to participate in first-ever REALTOR® Open House Weekend on April 10th & 11th
Join thousands of REALTORS® across the nation and hold an open house the weekend of April 10 and 11.
The National Association of REALTORS®, along with local REALTOR® associations like AAR, encourage thousands of member agents across the country to participate in the first-ever REALTOR® Nationwide Open House Weekend.
The goals of the event are simple:
• to increase consumer awareness of the benefits of buying a home
• to give sellers an opportunity to increase the exposure for their home for sale, and
• to spread the word about the expanded first-time homebuyer tax credit, which ends April 30
This is an incredible opportunity for sellers to showcase their home and potential homebuyers to shop for a new home while interest rates are still low, home prices are lower, and a variety of home choices exist.
Eventually, home prices and interest rates will climb, inventory will become scarce and the tax credit will be gone. |
