AAR’s Annual Texas Hold ’Em Tournament a sure bet for networking fun
The Aurora Association of REALTORS® Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament drew more than 90 players, each trying  their best to play their way to the final tournament table.
Card sharks and beginners alike tried their luck on March 13, all vying for first place. In the end, only one could come out on top, but it’s a sure bet that everyone had fun in the process.
The Tournament has become tradition at AAR, with the Association’s Affiliate Committee organizing the card games hand-in-hand with a Chili, Salsa and Guacamole Cook-Off. The Affiliates use proceeds from the event to fund worthy community causes and to pay for AAR’s Family Appreciation Day, scheduled for Sat., June 20.
More than 30 recipes were sampled by poker players and other attendees, who all voted their favorites. Many thanks to the many organizers and prize donors, whose efforts ensured another fun networking event.
