Sentrilock Electronic Lockbox Installation starts in July
AAR member training scheduled Aug. 4
Participating members in the Denver metro area will get their Sentrilock electronic lockboxes, card readers  and Sentricards beginning the week of July 21. Distribution will continue through Aug. 8.
Training is scheduled at participating Association offices for primary members of their Association. AAR’s installation and training is scheduled for Aug. 4, and members have five different time slots (9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m.) to complete the training and pick up product. Pre-registration is required no later than July 31 by contacting the Association office at (303) 369-5549.
After the training session, managing brokers will receive the number of lockboxes requested that they can lend/share with broker associates in their offices. They will also get an office card reader ($20 deposit) and a free Sentricard. Broker Associates in participating offices will receive a free Sentricard and may opt to get a personal card reader for their home office. A $20 refundable deposit is required to obtain a card reader.
After distribution is complete, members in offices that aren’t receiving lockboxes can visit AAR’s office to receive a free Sentricard. The card will be prepared specifically for each member, and will come with a DVD of instructions on using the card. The Sentricards will be programmed to operate in the Denver and IRES areas. Just like the current combination boxes, electronic lockboxes can also be accessed using a code obtained from the listing agent or office.
The evaluation period will continue for four months to give members and Associations a chance to use the system and make a decision without financial risk. Sentrilock’s system allows for a voluntary implementation and users who choose to use the system can do so with the assurance that their listings will continue to be as accessible as they are today.
