Ethics Update Course mandatory for ALL members
AAR records show that 513 REALTOR® members have not completed the mandatory Ethics Update Class.
Are you one of them?
The National Association of REALTORS® requires that all members take this course once every four years in order to maintain REALTOR® membership. If you have not taken an Ethics class after Jan. 1, 2005, you must do so by Dec. 31, 2008, and every four years thereafter, in order to remain a member in good standing. This requirement is completely separate from the Real Estate Commission 4-Hour Update requirement. The Ethics Update Course does apply toward the elective credits required to renew your license.
Several options are available to satisfy your Ethics educational requirements.
1. AAR Ethics Update courses:
Sept. 16, 8 a.m. - Noon (Stazel)
Oct. 28, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.(Stazel)
Nov. 20, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (Stazel)

2. NAR Online Code of Ethics Course
Visit www.realtor.org and search for “Quadrennial REALTOR® Ethics Training” for information. There is no charge for this class; it does not carry any C.E. credit in Colorado.
Check to see whether you have completed your requirement by contacting AAR at (303) 369-5549.
If you have completed this requirement at another location, fax a copy of your certificate to AAR at (303) 369-5524.
New members who completed a New Member Ethics Course since Jan. 1, 2005, have met the requirement.
