AAR golfers raise funds for CARHOF
Members, guests gather at Valley Country Club Aug. 18
It was the perfect cure for the Monday back-to-work blues.
The Aurora Association of REAL-TORS® Golf Tournament brought together 85 players and a wonderful slate of sponsors for an afternoon shotgun start at the beautiful Valley Country Club golf course Aug. 18.
After all, why simply work when you can throw a little golf into the mix? Not only did they play an enjoyable and challenging 18 holes, but AAR’s players also gave their support to the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Foundation (CARHOF). The nearly $2,300 raised will go a long way to help organizations in Aurora that support and create affordable housing.
Everyone was a winner
Some golfers were there for the competition; others just came for the fun of mixing with colleagues and friends. Hats off to the Golf and CARHOF committees, which together put on a successful, memorable tournament. AAR also thanks the tournament’s sponsors, whose support was very much appreciated.
