AAR needs motivated, committed leaders for 2007.
Nominate yourself or someone else for director positions.
 The AAR nominating committee meets in March and April to start the nominating process for four AAR directors and one CAR director to serve three-year terms beginning Oct. 1, 2007.
Director terms expiring
The terms of AAR Directors Ron Gilley, Kim Enomoto, Joann Patrick and Vanessa Daly Holmes will expire at the end of the fiscal year, Sept. 30, 2007. Don Fiore’s term as CAR Director will also expire in September. New AAR and CAR directors will be elected this summer during the annual election of directors.

If you know of someone who is interested in filling these positions, please submit the name(s) on the interest form to below. Feel free to submit a nomination for yourself. Nominees must be REALTOR® members in good standing and must meet the following criteria:
• Current on all dues and assessments
• Not under suspension
• Not associated with an office that already has three or more members serving on the Board of Directors.
Nomination Committee considerations
The Nominating Committee shall give consideration to the following in making their selection of potential candidates:
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Years of real estate experience
• Education and certification
• Participation in association activities
• Business acumen
Director responsibility
Directors serve as the governing body of the Association, establishing policy and future direction on behalf of the membership. The time commitment varies from year to year depending on current issues, future direction and their program of work. Each director should expect to contribute a minimum of six hours per month.
