Foreclosure Intervention Specialist
The Foreclosure Intervention Specialist (FIS) certification is yet another way agents can find and fill a niche market – one in which clients need a professional with specialized skills and solid knowledge.
Colorado’s foreclosure market continues to take the lead nationally. FIS certification classes teach real estate professionals the skills they need to assist families facing one of the toughest challenges of their lives – the selling of their home when it is already in default or expected to go into default, or when they realize that the sale of their house will not net enough to cover their mortgage.
FIS at AAR
The Aurora Association of REALTORS® joins the Jefferson County Association of REALTORS® and the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association to offer the complete FIS certification.
The classes are presented in three levels over five days. Those who complete the entire five-day schedule earn the FIS certification and can attend an additional class, “Building a Business Using Foreclosure Intervention Techniques” at no extra charge.
