 There were straight faces and skilled bluffs. There were card sharks and a few admitted minnows. Experienced players and those new to the game found fun at the Texas Hold ‘Em Tables at AAR’s Tourney in March.
More than 50 players took to the tables, and members entered 18 recipes for the Cook Off at the Affiliate-sponsored event March 22. It was all to raise money for the Affiliate Committee, which plans to use the funds to help AAR host a Membership Appreciation Day this summer. The Affiliates raise money annually to better the Association and the community.
The evening was filled with fun, laughter and a ton of food. It was the Association’s second Texas Hold ‘Em Tourney – the first one was last July.
