Annual Holiday Luncheon Lights Up The Eyes Of AAR Members
Members of the Aurora Association of REALTORS® joined together in December to celebrate the season through the “Holiday of Lights – AAR Lighting the Way for You.”
AAR’s Holiday Luncheon has a long tradition of assisting a charitable organization through member contributions. This year, members brought teddy bears for the Aurora Police Department Victims Services Unit. More than 130 donated bears will be given by Aurora police officers to children who need a little extra comfort in a time of need.
The room was filled with music provided by Desiree Banka, Metro Brokers – Sunny Homes and Associates, as well as an enthusiastic performance by the Rangeview Show Choir. The event Dec. 9 was the perfect gathering for friends and colleagues to wish each other happy holidays and a great start to the season’s celebrations.

Rangeview High School’s Show Choir gave an outstanding seasonal performance at AAR’s Holiday Luncheon at the Radisson Hotel in December.

AAR Past President Debbie Green, Realty Executives of Aurora, entertained a delighted Holiday Luncheon audience with a Christmas story from her childhood.

The Holiday Luncheon Committee celebrates a job well done. Ann Abraham, Shelley Hiller, Dawn Fabiszak, Carole Smith, Patty Clark, Desiree Banka, Sunny Banka, Trudy Richardson, Joan Cox, Debbie Green, AAR Staff Liaison Cheryl Vavra, Nancy Griffin, and Chairwoman Sandy Kauffman spent many hours planning the “Holiday of Lights” celebration.

Rob Haynes dedicates three leaves for the Association’s Tree of Life to his mother, Patti Haynes. Patti was a longtime staff member of AAR until just prior to her death in May. During her tenure at AAR, she helped the Holiday Luncheon Committee plan many seasonal celebrations.
